Andrea Blanco
Andrea began her career as a breastfeeding educator in 2008 with the Miami-Dade County Department of Health, where she worked to improve local breastfeeding rates. She later collaborated with South Florida hospitals under a government grant, implementing policies to increase breastfeeding initiation rates and gaining invaluable insight into the challenges new parents often encounter. Transitioning from public health to private practice, Andrea has since guided hundreds of families in achieving their breastfeeding goals.
In 2010, Andrea became an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), dedicating herself to staying at the forefront of this ever-evolving field. She brings extensive expertise in addressing a wide range of breastfeeding challenges, from prenatal preparation to complex issues, and tailors every session to meet the unique needs of each family. Andrea emphasizes listening deeply to her clients’ goals and provides professional, evidence-based, and personalized care to empower them on their breastfeeding journey.
Passionate about her work, Andrea is committed to equipping families with the education, guidance, and support they deserve. Outside of her professional role, she is a proud mother to two wonderful boys.
